    •  Very informative for a beginner like me.

Well organized, low-key, very informative for the bike beginners (you know, those of us who don't know how to change a flat tire!) PowerPoint and presentation by an REI bike tech who spoke to us; he understood the audience, but was never condescending. Questions were encouraged and he covered chain cleaning, lubing the chain, changing a flat tire, types of tires, differences between road and mountain bike tires, inflation, etc. They had a few door prizes, REI 15% coupons to all, and some little cookies!
    •  I learned a lot and feel more confident about caring for my bike..the presenter was very knowlegeable and interesting. thanks
