Join us for a fun filled weekend in the snow and hot springs of the Pisgah National Forest!
If you can take Friday off we'll enjoy lunch and a nice day hike (TBD) in the Hot Springs area. You're also welcome to meet us late Friday or early Saturday morning.
We'll be camping but not too rough! Our campground at Creek Ridge is only a short 5 minute walk from the cars. Just far enough for some peace and seclusion. You'll need your backpack (or other bag) but you can bring some luxuries as well! You can also bring a cooler which will be delivered down close to our site. You may choose to sleep on the deck or pitch a tent. There are SHOWERS and RESTROOMS only a short walk away.
Saturday we'll hit the slopes! At Wolf Ridge you'll enjoy unmatched views, crisp mountain air, well-groomed slopes and some new places to explore at Western North Carolina's top-rated ski slope. Wolf Ridge Ski Resort has expanded and offers 82 acres of ski terrain, a new quad lift, a new terrain park and much more. There is something for everyone from beginner to expert at this family-oriented resort!
If you don't know how to ski or board we'll have a FREE group lesson included. So come learn to enjoy the slopes with us.
After our awesome day on the snow we'll head into Hot Springs, NC for dinner. After dinner you'll have the option of joining us for an hour long soak in the 100-104 degree jacuzzi style mineral baths. You'll feel so relaxed after this soak!
We'll enjoy the campfires and company both Friday and Saturday nights. Bring your stories to tell and marshmallows to roast! Sunday we'll enjoy another nice day hike (TBD) before we all pack up and head home from a wonderful weekend of adventure.
Your cost of $95 includes Ski Lift day ticket, ski or snow board equipment rental, group lesson, and your camping fee for both nights. Meals and transportation are NOT included. The mineral bath in Hot Springs is not included in this cost. Depending on how many attend it will cost you $10-15 for the 1 hour soak.
RSVP and payment must be made by February 5th at 10am.
Required Items: Tent and car camping equipment; Hiking gear and attire; Cold Weather Attire for Skiing; Spending Cash for Meals and Transportation.
