Despite the warm and sunny afternoons, the nights are chilly and weather reports are still calling for snow! Cold weather backpacking is fun and with a little planning you'll stay warm and enjoy the woods in the winter. This show and tell class will cover backpacking essentials: choosing a backpack, selecting proper clothing, gloves, socks, the right footwear, and understanding the basic gear you need to reach your destination.
