“ hey chuck, you won't believe it, but i actually got to the arboretum yesterday afternoon, probably about a half hour later than your meet-up.
yes, too much work!! but we had a nice hike on the carolina mtn trail. i'm going to try for it again friday afternoon, the weather looks wonderful!

Don't know how to change a tire, fall down regularly, can't (yet) do hills, and am really, really slow!! lol. That said/typed, I'd be open to going with the rock bottom rookies!! :)

“ Rode in Bent Creek 1/12 and noticed people skating on Powhatan. Joined them with the bike and had a blast. Lowered the tire pressure to about 5lbs and the seat way down. ”

“ Hi Chuck...I'm hoping to make the hike this Sunday...will be my first hike in these GORgreous mountains since I moved here last year....looking VERY much forward to getting back out into the woods. Can you give me a good place to get a good pair of hiking shoes/boots? Any info would greatly be appreciated. Also....are there any members from the Marion/McDowell County area I can tag with?
