REI's mountain biking basics class for anyone who is interested in getting into mountain biking or just started riding. We will go over what to look for when purchasing a new mountain bike, gear, clothing, safety and where you can go ride. The class will also cover basic skills like how to balance, climb, descend, corner, brake, and get past obstacles.

All participants will receive an REI coupon and the chance to win prizes.

Registration is required. Please register at www.rei.com/asheville. Sorry, but registration on Meetup.com will not reserve a seat for you in the class.
